Motor Control Centers.
UCI has over 25 years experience in building motor control centers for new installations and retrofitting existing installations. Our ability to design, fabricate, qualify and test equipment to Class 1E has allowed us to supply equipment to both domestic and international projects. You can rely on UCI to design and deliver a quality product that will provide decades of trouble free service. Class IE MCCs and MCC buckets are provided as qualified in accordance with IEEE 649-1980, 323-74 and 344-75. UCI's 10CFR50 Appendix B quality assurance program guarantee that design, qualification and quality control meet the highest standards.
Metal Fabrication.
UCI can supply panels and enclosures in all types of metal including steel, stainless steel and aluminum, up to 1/2-inch thickness and finish them to a high standard in our powder coat finishing facility. Our field services crews can make field modifications to existing control panels with in the discipline of our quality assurance program. UCI's service to the nuclear power industry includes many successful reverse engineering projects starting with a failed or obsolete component and developing a like for like replacement. UCI's product line includes main control boards, transmitter racks, relay panels, remote outdoor panels, and operator consoles.
Enclosures and Panels.
UCI can supply UL listed enclosures for the most demanding applications applications that may employ Stardyne finite element analysis to refine critical designs. What's more, any equipment, parts or components may be qualified and dedicated under IEEE 323 1974/83, IEEE 344-1975/87 and EPRI. In control centers designed for nuclear applications, UCI engineers test every component and part, never relying on random tests.
