Last week, our Inside Sales Team had the incredible opportunity to visit the Braidwood Clean Energy Center for the first time.
Seeing the facility up close and meeting with the talented professionals who keep it running gave our team invaluable insight into the real-world challenges and priorities of nuclear operations. This week, the United Controls International team attended multiple industry events to promote our core competencies and interface with nuclear professionals around the world.
UCI Europe and our COO attended the World Nuclear Supply Chain Conference in Warsaw, Poland. The World Nuclear Association is working to strengthen the industry’s support and preparedness for new nuclear development.
Our Sales Manager and the North America team attended the Rapid Parts Conference in Clearwater Beach, Florida. This year’s event connected likeminded utility members and suppliers to discuss the current challenges facing nuclear supply chains.
As a bonus, our supply chain intern, Brooke, connected with 2023 Miss America who is a nuclear engineer! Through our internship program, UCI is committed to introducing the next generation of professionals to the nuclear industry.
